HP OfficeJet 3830 is a multifunctional wireless printer that allows you to connect directly and print from your computer, laptop, smartphone, etc. This printer only supports the manual HP OfficeJet 3830 double-sided printing feature. By following the below instructions, you can print on both sides of the page on your printer.

Double-sided Printing On Windows:

  • Make sure to load the sheets into the paper tray.
  • Open the document you want to print.
  • Now, click the File tab in the window’s top-left corner.
  • Select the Print option from the drop-down list.
  • Make sure that your printer is selected.
  • Click on the Properties button located in the Print dialog box.
  • In the Properties window, select the Layout tab.
  • Now, select the Orientation field and choose the Portrait or Landscape option.
  • Next, select the appropriate option from the Print on Both Sides Manually field.
  • Now, click on the Paper/Quality tab and complete the media type, print quality, and color settings.
  • Now, click the Advanced button and choose the respective paper size from the Paper Size field.
  • Once you print on the front side of the page, follow the on-screen prompts to reload the page with the blank side up and select Continue.
  • Click on the OK button to print.

Double-sided Printing On Mac:

  • Launch the document that you wish to print.
  • Next, select the Print option from the File menu.
  • Choose the Paper Handling option in the Print dialog box and select the Page Order option as Normal.
  • Next, choose the Odd Only option in the Pages to Print field.
  • Now, click on the Print button.
  • After printing all the odd-numbered pages, unload the document from the output tray.
  • Now, reinsert the document with the blank side facing towards the front of the printer.
  • Next, go back to the Print dialog box and select Paper.
  • Now, choose the Page Order option as Normal and select the Even Only option in the Pages to Print field.
  • Click the Print button.
