Troubleshooting the HP OfficeJet 4630 printer

The HP OfficeJet 4630 printer prints at a maximum resolution and lets you scan and copy your documents. Sometimes, the HP OfficeJet 4630 printer troubles you with some common errors. This error can be resolved by referring to the solutions mentioned in this article.

Initially, you’ll have to check whether the supplied power cord is properly connected at both ends. If the printer isn’t turned on, you’ll not be able to do the necessary tasks. So, check whether the printer is turned on. Or else disconnect and reconnect the power cord.

  • Set the printer as default. It is the most basic troubleshooting that you need to perform whenever the printer troubles you with some common errors. Here’s how to do it: 
  • On your computer, go to Control Panel> Devices and Printers.
  • Look for the printer icon and then right-click on it.
  • You’ll have to select Set as default printer.

Sometimes, the printer might go offline, and it can be resolved by disabling Use Printer Offline.

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel> Devices and Printers.
  • Search for the printer icon and then click on it.
  • Check for the See what’s printing option.
  • Select the Printer menu.
  • Look for the Use Printer Offline option. Check whether the option is disabled. If not, disable it. It should help you to fix the problem.

Additionally, continue to cancel all the stalled print jobs. It might help you fix the problem.

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel> Devices and Printers.
  • Search for the printer icon and then click on it.
  • Check for the See what’s printing option.
  • Select the Printer menu.
  • Now, you need to select the Cancel All Documents option. This should help fix the problem.
